From Your Therapist: In Hazel's Words
Hi, I’m glad you’re here.
I specialize in virtual therapy for adults navigating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety, overthinking, intrusive thoughts, panic attacks, relationship stress, and emotional overwhelm. Many of the people I work with feel mentally exhausted. They constantly replay conversations, question their relationships, cycle through worry and self-doubt, or brace for the worst even when things are fine. Others feel overtaken by intense emotions, mood swings, low self-esteem, or difficulty setting boundaries.
If any of that sounds familiar, you’re in the right place.
As an online therapist, my mission is to foster a genuinely supportive therapeutic relationship where you can be fully honest without fear of judgment. Every online therapy session should feel like a space where you don’t have to hide your thoughts, emotions, or struggles. I balance evidence-based strategies with empathy, humor, and authenticity to help you better understand the patterns keeping you stuck and build real, lasting change.
In my sessions, I draw on several proven, research-backed therapy approaches — including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I focus on emotional regulation, reducing overthinking and intrusive thoughts, improving relationships, and helping you feel more confident and secure in yourself.
With over 10 years of experience, I’ve helped clients move from feeling like their emotions run the show to feeling calmer, more connected, and more in control of their everyday lives. Whatever you’re carrying right now, things can look and feel very different, and that’s exactly what we’ll work toward together.
