From Your Therapist: In Jocelyn's Words

Hi, I’m glad you’re here.

Many of the people I work with feel trapped in patterns of overthinking, self-doubt, fear of the future, difficulty trusting others, or feeling constantly on edge. These challenges can affect self-esteem, motivation, relationships, and the ability to feel present and confident in daily life. In addition to anxiety and depression, I have a growing passion for supporting individuals managing OCD-related fears, intrusive thoughts, and fear-based thinking patterns.

I utilizes a strengths-based approach, working collaboratively with my clients to help them to leverage and continue building on their strengths both inside and outside of the therapy space. I acknowledge every human has a unique, layered background, and I am devoted to providing quality, individualized care that is best for each of my clients.

In online therapy, I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel safe exploring your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I use proven, research-backed approaches — including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) — to help clients develop healthy coping skills, manage anxiety and depression, improve emotional regulation, strengthen communication, and build more fulfilling relationships. Together, we’ll identify unhelpful patterns, increase self-awareness, and create practical strategies that support healing, resilience, and long-term emotional well-being.
